Soap bubble technology
Experts from the University of Bristol are developing a type of a new type of education tool and information transfer: bubbles.
The new system, known as a ‘chrono-sensory mid-air display system’ will use a screen of water which displays messages on the bubbles. When popped, a particular scent will be produced. Primarily geared for use in education, the ‘SensaBubble’ will create a new type of learning style. For example, a clock could release the amount of bubbles to show the time, or fun and visual maths games could be created with a student popping a bubble which represents what they think is the correct answer. It would then release a different scent depending whether it is right or wrong. They could also be used in the office to show unread emails and missed calls and in shopping centres to help retail advertising.
